Choosing the Right SuperNova Licence
SuperNova has two different licence types which suit educational organisations:
- Personal Licence (single user)
- Professional Licence (multi-user)
If you have a single student with accessibility needs, choose the Personal Licence and install the SuperNova edition directly on to their device.
If you have more than one student with a visual impairment at your setting, a Professional Licence is a better choice. This enables you to choose and install any of the SuperNova editions to meet the needs of all students who are blind or partially sighted.
SuperNova Maintenance Agreement (SMA)
All SuperNova licences purchased directly from Dolphin come with a 12-month Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA).
With each SMA you receive:
- All major upgrades for 12 months
- Telephone and remote support for UK customers
- Free subscription to EasyReader Premium Personal Plan
Having an SMA ensures your assistive technology software runs smoothly, and keeps pace with rolling updates to Windows 11 technology.

All new SuperNova customers in the UK with a Personal Licence receive one hour of free training from Dolphin via telephone.
To be taken within one year of purchase, on the latest version of SuperNova.
